The chair fits my kitchen counter. I like the back on it and that it swivels. It was easy to put together right out of the box. Reason for 4 stars-the seat has the seam at the front, I would think it should be at the back. In order to do so you would have to remove the seat back and drill a new hole. I love this vintage kitchen chair! The only reason it is not getting 5 stars is because the seat cushion is thicker than the same chairs purchased a few years ago. It is 2-1/2” thick compared to 1”.
