Good quality faucet. You might need this model over model 8244, which has 4.5" handles, if your spay nozzle is less than four inches from the cold water valve. I learned that the colored foil stickers for hot and cold can be removed, exposing a recessed chrome area with recessed H and C lettering within. Built a new house and picked the Etch. Our plumber installed the bar sink faucet, then discovered that the matching faucet for the main sink wasn't available. Moen is apparently trying to find a new supplier for this model, and the matching faucet won't be available until 2015. Like the bar faucet so much we're willing to wait, but what a pain! Plumber had to install a substitute faucet for the main sink so we could pass our final inspection. As for the Etch, love the square base, and the pull-down faucet is easy to operate, very smooth on the pull-down movement, easy to hold in the hand. We got it in chrome, and if they had the matching main sink faucet plus another bar faucet in stainless, we'd make the switch and get it sooner.
