Very pleased with this bed! After purchasing another wooden loft bed also from Wayfair that not only came with a few damaged pieces, but missing pieces as well my husband and I were hesitant about this bed, but were surprised. The only complaint I think we had when putting together is the screws labeled D were too short for some of the parts they instructed us to use them for so we used the longer one of the same size (Screw A) and it worked out. This loft bed was exactly what we were looking for. My husband put it together in 3 hours; pretty simple instructions. One thing I wanted to note!: This bed can be built with the stairs on EITHER SIDE. We were so confused looking at the photos trying to figure out which side the stairs were on, but it comes with two sets of instructions, one for each side, so that worked out perfectly. We added some support to the wall because it does shake a bit if you're up on the bed. You do need to get a 6 inch mattress or else the safety bars won't reach above the mattress. We bought this for our 7-year-old daughter, and so far it’s been great. I’m giving it four stars because it’s not perfect. I’m not entirely sure what “noise free” in the title is referring to, since it does make some noise — which is understandable — but it’s not completely silent. That said, I would still recommend it. The height is ideal — not overly tall like the one we purchased from another site for our 11-year-old son. This one allows me to stand relatively close to my daughter while she’s lying down, and it’s not so close to the ceiling that she can’t sit up without hitting her head (we have 9ish-foot ceilings).
