This is a very solid deck box. The installation was kinda annoying and it could be because I'm more of a picture follower and read when something doesn't make sense but the metal bar needs to line up with the notch in the middle after you connect the latch. I had it all screwed down and realized it and had to double screw that. Another one you have to watch out for are the hinges. But it's nice knowing this thing should last and it's very large. I absolutely love this storage container. It looks so expensive and well made. It has wheels which was a requirement for me. It opens and closes nicely with an air spring that makes it a soft close and soft open. It has an amazing amount of space inside that feels pretty protected from the elements. It took me a bit to put it together but wasn't complicated. The instructions are decent although I did mess up a few times. Probably user error thinking I knew what I was doing. It comes packed so well that many of the pieces are screwed together so you don't lose them or the screws, but you have to unscrew them to put it back together and that's what it took me a bit to realize. It's sturdy and well designed in it's structure. Highly recommend. I know it's metal and not plastic or resin so people were worried it may rust, but I'm not as worried. very easy to put together. kind of flimsy and cheaper material than I expected but foes the job for what I need it for. perfect size, fits all our pool towels in their protective waterproof bags, and i can sit on it comfortably and it does not feel like i will break it…so the top is definitely built well!! only issue was ghat the top that snapped on had a little manufacturing defect and it is a little warped or bubbled so it is noticeable visably but fors not harm the integrity of the box keeping things dry and secured.
