Lights work very well (only about a week in). Mounted 14 total on 5"x5" wood post tops. Note that the largest cap measurement (to meet that 5"x5") is to the OUTSIDE edges, so I had to sand down the post tops to make up for the ~1/16-1/8" width of the cap perimeter (i.e. this largest option would truly fit a 4.75-4.875"x4.75-4.875" post top naturally). Also could have used 4 screws per cap rather than two in order to keep it from potentially swiveling side-to-side off level, but they are solidly in place otherwise, and no other issues.. Michael.
