Packaging needs improvement. There’s scratches on some of the fan blades and the glass has scratches on it. The remote is zip tied to the fan, but the installation screws that are also packed side are free to be tossed around in the box. I really do like the overall look of the fan. Feels sturdy, but light enough to make installation easier. I mainly liked this product because of the APP to be able to use the fan. So you don’t necessarily need the remote. I had a fan previously that had a remote and I accidentally washed the remote because it was lost in the sheets when they went into the wash. lol. I’ve put up my share of ceiling fans, but opted for a professional installer this time. Glad I did, as he built some much needed support beams in the ceiling, to ensure it was stable. Plan on buying a large medallion to affix to the ceiling. Looks better, IMO… The electrician even needed my assistance to complete the install, so be sure to have some help. Totally worth it! This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. The Vevor 16" extraction blower fan is extremely strong. This thing moves some serious air. Don't think you are going to be powering this thing up without anyone noticing. The fan has some serious torque and it is extremely loud in either the low or the high setting. Likely due to the all metal construction. The price seems very fair considering it comes with a hose and the quality seems to be there as well. The only thing I have an issue with is getting the hose to stay in place. The tie system works but is almost useless. I might switch out for a ratchet strap or something on the next use. Also this unit is very large. Your going to need some extra shelve space for storage. Lucky the hose flattens out pretty well. All in all, I would buy the Vevor 16" blower fan again with out question. The thing could make a hurricane happen.. Jeremy. Tue Dec 06 2022

This is a really nice unit. Nice looking design, mostly metal, sturdy feeling including coating with a nice texture / evenly applied, plenty of sensor settings (tucked on underside of sensor pod) for whatever you might be looking for the light to do, and has a clearly stated warranty. The lights are moderately bright, much dimmer, warmer, and more "mood lighting" than "floodlight" compared to our previous 2-bulb spotlight. Part of it is the focus of the light since they have a full rim/hood whereas some fixtures have big bulging bulbs that distribute light widely. Just depends what you're looking for. The area we have them in is about 50ft wide and with these pointed about 50* downward, they light up about 30ft well and the rest dimly. To me, this kind of light is more considerate to neighbors since it directs the light more into your own yard than beaming in all directions. 2 issues. One is the sensor pod -- which in my opinion is the durability weak spot on these types of product -- is all plastic... Not so good for baking in the sun, though I feel more confident since the product has a longer warranty than most things these days and will hopefully be UV resistant. The other quirk was during installation. This product has a lot of power/brains packed into the round base plate, leaving almost no room for wires/nuts. In our case, we had a builder-grade (junk) spotlight attached directly to an eve with the wiring stuffed behind the eve, no workbox. This meant a much more complicated install than expected because we had to cut a workbox to a weird location. Probably would have cost a good chunk more if an electrician had to do it. That's fine and probably the better way to install any electrical device, just wish there were clearer pictures of the back of the unit so we could have planned the time and materials better. For those of you living in parts of the country with better building standards than Arizona, perhaps you'll have the right electrical setup. It also includes a gasket which is so tightly toleranced it wouldn't sit behind the base during install on our textured eve... Again, might work better for your setup, just things to consider -- we needed a tube of caulk to seal it. Overall really like the light, unit looks great and so does the bright-enough but comfortable light it puts out.
