We cook A LOT, and we're a longtime Bosch family, and even though it's taking some getting used to cooking on induction vs. open flame, in general we're loving this appliance because it fits our limited available space, it's very intuitive to use, and it's super-easy to clean! On "con" = we find we're having to be extra-careful not to drag heavy pots across the cooktop (as we'd gotten used to doing on the very rugged cast iron grate of our gas cooktop at home) - this induction cooktop surface definitely feels more "delicate" than our gas cooktop grate. Although this one sticks out 2 1/4 inches aound the door, the way the knob portion angles, it's flush with the countertop at the top. I especially like the angle for access to the knobs. Although some have noted, their space between the back wall, I have none and there should be none if install installed properly. Also, others have noted the cooling process sends warm air out the front vent, I knew it going in and it is not bothering me. The bottom Storage door is a bit light weight and small, but I'm glad to have it, as some do not and it's fitting a fair amount of stacked cookie sheets and broiler pans. I was surprised at how quiet this dishwasher is. The top rack for cutlery is a big improvement over my last dishwasher, and I like the being able to change the height of the the top rack (even changing the heights indepdentently to give more room to taller items on one side). It does what it is supposed to do. The only issues I have are that the silverware basket is too small (it needs to be twice as long) and and that you have to download an app to your phone and connect to your dishwasher in order to use some functions (i.e. machine care or rinsing). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!.
