That said, it was a great price, and I am going to move it to a room where I need a ceiling fan but not a light. Packaging needs improvement. There’s scratches on some of the fan blades and the glass has scratches on it. The remote is zip tied to the fan, but the installation screws that are also packed side are free to be tossed around in the box. I really do like the overall look of the fan. Feels sturdy, but light enough to make installation easier. I mainly liked this product because of the APP to be able to use the fan. So you don’t necessarily need the remote. I had a fan previously that had a remote and I accidentally washed the remote because it was lost in the sheets when they went into the wash. lol. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone. This light arrived well packaged and in a generic ceiling light package. Sofucor does do a lot of ceiling fans per their website and the interior packaging confirmed it was a Sofucor product. There is a little blue tooth speaker in the middle of the fan, and the LED lighting will not only show up on the outer plastic crystallized rim, it will shine through the “star” holes in the main basin. At first I thought they were little glitter pieces but you can fully see through them when I held it up to a light. This is going in my teenage sons room during our new build, so I will update photos after full installation. All in all it looks to be a stellar, very cool product so we are looking forward to it..
