The cooktop works great, but I wanted induction. When I searched products by using the filters, this electric one was in the list. My fault for not double checking before I bought. The electric cooktop works great and heats food very quickly, but the surface is extremely hot, which is dangerously close to where my grandchildren sit at the counter. You will love the multiple sizes you can choose for the size pot or pan. It boils water fairly quickly. I like that you have to long press the buttons to turn on the elements so children wouldn’t accidentally turn on an element. I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in. Oven was received and had damaged edges that were broken, I contacted the help desk and was told to contact GE , the oven was ordered from Wayfair and payment was made to Wayfair not GE.
