Up on the top shelf. One word of advice. When attaching the top and bottom side supports together. Put a shelf in between the two supports. So that it can be stable when you’re finishing the setup. Plus whatever you put there. Can help stabilize it too. Putting this together by myself. Was pretty easy. Although I wished I had an extra hand sometimes. With how wide it is. But I was able to get it altogether by myself. In four hours, and it was done. I put the bottom prices for the bottom part of the legs in. That say to do first in the directions. To not scratch up the floors. But this was going into the garage. So it really didn’t matter. And our house is very old. So the garage floor is old too. These metal shelves are fantastic, they are strong and being metal they don't start to sag like plastic or wood shelves. They are super easy and fast to assemble and this shelf in particular has double markings at certain intervals to make it easy to place the clips for even shelves, usually you have to count lines to make sure you get the plastic brackets in the right place but the double lines made it so easy.
