This is a beautiful light, however the picture is not representative of the actual light. Hinkley's website has the same photo too, and it appears that the middle section of the light is a matte finish which is in contrast to the bottom and top rim which are shiny. This semi flush light is perfect in my hallway. The hall has a short ceiling so I needed something to give good clearance. This was it, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s pretty.
