Worked great for our circa 1900 farmhouse remodel in Monterey Ca. Product performed very similar to MDF and was easy to install. A few boards came dented and were quickly replaced by my sales rep at. As the designer I was happy with the look and feel and will not be painting the product. My carpender used a nail gun to install the boards and finished the nail holes with white silicone. NOTE: They do not match up exactly as the sizes are off my 1/4". I will use a glass door and trim out the points they join to fool the eye into not noticing the break in horizontal lines.. I received an email this July notifying me that they were available again, ordered and received before promised date, opened and was so disappointed…. These are ‘NOT’ retrofit lighting kits, they are new install. Called customer service, explained the problem and that these are described incorrectly on their site.
