OMG this shower door is super heavy and amazingly thick and durable . You NEED to hire a contractor to install it - unless you have one in your family. I have attached a photo of my old doors that’s not as thick or durable as this new one. The contractors came out and installed the shower door - see last photo - look how amazing it looks. I haven't installed this yet, but it seems to be of good quality. However, the installation instructions are almost worthless! Luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.
