This is a great little vanity/desk, especially given the price point. It's a tad smaller than I expected, but that is perfectly fine as it will be in a smaller room. Shipping was quick and FedEx delivery was seamless. It took 2 of us about 6 hours to build, but we very much took our time. We are not professionals by any means, but we're OK with a screwdriver, and that's the only tool you'll need. A very well made one is included with the hardware. About an hour of our time was spent laying out all the pieces in a logical order (be sure you do this as it will save a lot of confusion and time seeking for the right part), and then cross-checking to ensure that we had everything we were supposed to have, which we did. The many (many) parts and all of the hardware are very well labeled, and all of the predrilled holes lined up very well. The only very minor snafu we had was one piece missing its predrilled holes. As it turned out, the holes were indeed there, but had been covered with laminate that was not drilled through. This was a simple fix and we were quickly back to building. If you read carefully, follow the instructions, and TAKE YOUR TIME, you'll have a beautiful and well-made vanity (that can double as a desk) with color changing lights and plenty of storage space. I absolutely adore this gorgeous vanity! So many great features, I have gotten a ton of compliments already - this turned out to be perfect for me. Heres an insider tip, if you can spring for it pay for the assembly service. My installer was about an hour late, but once he arrived he got it set up quickly enough, 3.5 hours total. I was understanding that it would be a time consuming task. There are lots of tedious small pieces, and unless youre a pro at it you dont want to have to put this together yourself, it has to be done precisely for all pieces and parts to work and be flush. It would take two people for an amateur job, only an installation pro could do this alone. That said, I am certain you will love your vanity setup just as much as I do. It has plenty of storage space in the drawers and on the shelves around the mirror. Eight drawers is plenty, if youre up a product hoarder like me. The Bluetooth speakers are loud and work perfectly, the light settings arent extremely bright, but bright enough to see your self working, and you can always add additional lighting overhead, or behind you, which I plan to do. I love that it comes with a little magnifying mirror that sticks to the larger mirror via suction. I had room for my extensive fragrance and oils collection that are sizeable bottles that take up space. This was absolutely necessary for the shelf space, because I dont have many bottles that are under 3.0 ml. The drawers roll open smoothly and I love the beautiful diamond knobs, when I open the blinds and the sunlight hits them it shoots beautiful prisms onto the flooring and walls. I initially intended to place it in the corner of the room, but it was much bigger than I thought so I just placed it on the wall closest to the door for best access. The blow dryer hook is large enough for me to hook on my hair dryer and my flat iron and drape the cords behind the table. I love that it has a power outlet with two USB ports and two sockets, I absolutely needed this feature. Also the fact that the glass part of the tabletop doesnt take up the whole table is fantastic because it makes the whole thing more sturdy and more fragile. The little stool chair is much sturdier than I thought. None of the pieces seem extremely thin or flimsy to me, this was well made and thoughtfully designed with space and comfort in mind. Im not an influencer, and Im obsessed with this vanity! I needed a LOT more space for my cosmetics and hairnail stuff, so I splurged on this beautiful vanity and Im so happy I did! I love all the shelving, the storage cubbies in the middle are GREAT for perfumes and various small cosmetics, the bulbs all around the mirror are perfectly subtle yet glamorous, and the pièce de résistance is the LED lights in the glass cases, I play around with the lighting patterns in the magic lantern app every time Im in my room to entertain myself. The setup was a bit long, but that was to be expected--my husband and I decided to take a leisurely attempt at the setup, and we accomplished it in a weekend after dedicating a couple of hours each day to it. It wasnt difficult by any means, just tedious. The bulbs were straightforward to get up and running, as were the LED strips. The worst part was the unpacking of everything--THERE IS SO. MUCH.
