The dresser arrived in good condition, but the box was filled with confetti that served no purpose except to really aggravate me. Putting the dresser together was difficult. The pictures did not help much. Everything had to be adjusted and redone. Two boards along the back were not long enough and this is problematic when everything is held together with pins and bolts. We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included).
