I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. This would be a 5 star if the table was actually connected in the middle. It is two different pieces so it is a bit hard to level in my yard and I have to use the net to keep the two table sides together. OTHER than that it is perfect for out door ping pong. I like the materials, they seem to be heavy duty. The net I bought is for a 12 x 14 gazebo from Yardistry only issue I ran into was that the net tracks for the long side of the gazebo were not the correct ones, they were longer than the beams where I was to mount them on I ended up having to section about 6 inches of two tracks so they would fit properly. I followed the installation instructions and installed the tracks 2 inches from the bottom of the horizontal beams on the gazebo, and when mounted the nets I noticed there’s about 2-inch gap at the bottom of the net and the floor I don’t know if that’s intended or not. First. I am glad that I read the reviews especially the negative ones so I could see for myself if the problems are systemic for this product. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product, and it looks great. The product was well packed and there was no damage from shipping, but the package was long and bulky causing the delivery personnel to struggle getting it off the truck. There were only 2 screw holes (in the horizontal supports) that didn’t match up where the H1 bolt would not fit. Fortunately, the 2 places didn’t affect the integrity of the product. Two of the slats on the horizontal bars were welded slightly off (1/8”) making it impossible to use the longer H1 screws. I overcame this by using the spare shorter screws that are used to install upper panels. The use of plastic screws on the top ceiling metal sheets (top of the gazebo) are a waste of time and hold the panels in very well. Constructions tips: It does take four people to get the frame standing and installed. It only takes about 5 minutes to erect the post and insert them into place. So, get your neighbors to help for this major step. It also takes 2 people to set the top copula onto the frame. The rest of the construction can be done by yourself. One complaint I read was that the holes of the metal roof didn’t properly align up with the frame. Since I was aware of this, I didn’t tighten all the screws until all panels were installed. There is enough wiggle room to make the necessary adjustments to get all the screws into the holes. The same issue applies to the rafters when installing the support cross beams. Losen the brackets up so that the cross beams can be inserted into place. Be careful about cross threading the H1 bolts into the frame. I messed up on 1 and it’s not repairable. Use your fingers to start the bolt before using the 10mm tools to lock into place. It took me two 10-hour days to unpack, build, make minor adjustment, and clean up to complete this project. I also had a great time building this project since the finished product does look very impressive. I am happy with the product and would purchase again. I bought this somewhat hesitantly due to Wayfair's return policy, the amount and weight of all pieces, and the careful packing into 3 boxes. That would be hell to return, especially at my own cost. Nonetheless, I didn't return it and it is now full constructed. First of all, I assembled this over the course of about 5 days, mostly by myself (which I understand is not advised by the instructions). I needed my neighbor's assistance and two kids to help me hoist the vented top portion of the structure onto the four posts. Second, the instructions are clear about 75% of the time. There was a lot of trial and error with a few items, which I will list here: 1. Step 6 calls for D1, but does not clearly show which side is up. Flat side should be down. 2. In step 11, the aforementioned hoisting of the vented portion, it really doesn't appear that those 4 pieces of D1 will hold such a heavy piece, but it does. 3. In step 18, it calls for sliding the roof pieces into grooves without securing them, which happens in step 19. I HIGHLY ADVISE TO INSTALL THE ROOF PIECES ON ONE SIDE ONLY AND SECURE EACH IMMEDIATELY. As a matter of safety, these pieces are extremely sharp and some slid out of their grooves, crashing to the ground. Anyone standing below the unsecured roof pieces could've been severely cut/injured if one slid off. This happened a few times (slid off, not injuries) and it was terrifying. Again, having others assist here to hold them in place while someone secured them is important. Wind could also cause these to fall. 4. Some of the same pieces are slightly different in length and this may cause a few issues with some pieces fitting (for example, I had trouble with the Q pieces that secure the roof pieces). 5. Step 22 was very unclear to me. There are 2 tracks for the bug screen and the curtain, but which one goes on which track is up to you. I used the outside track for the curtain. Also, when installing each, ensure the zipper portions meet in the middle of each side (not at the posts). Don't install H9 until you have all of the curtains properly installed, or you'll have to remove those pieces to make adjustments. 6. Finally, also in step 22, H7, H8 and H10 are to be installed and it is not clear how or to what. 3 sets of each go on each post and attach to the eyelets of the bug screen and curtain to keep those from blowing. Now that it's installed, I'm VERY happy with the overall look and quality of the gazebo. It's attractive, sturdy and a nice addition to my back yard. I do feel obligated to give a mild warning to prospective buyers: - When the instructions say 2+ people are required at certain stages they mean it. DON'T do what I did (assembled the posts and beams upside down and flipped it over). Ripped bolt anchors, bent metal, lots of cursing. All fixable but not a good time. - The instructions only include pictures and there were more than a couple times I interpreted them incorrectly . I ended up having to remove and re-install parts after having that "ah-hah" moment . Not the end of the world but it adds time. - Nuts and bolts are made of soft metal. You WILL have lots of stripped bolts if you use a power drill ( a must if you want to speed things up) and are not super careful. Good news is Sojag provides lots of extra parts. But... - Having so many extra parts means you'll constantly second guess whether your missing something; especially since there are holes that don't need anything.
