The couch was shipped in 4 pieces. The entire back is the same height as the arms. Its very firm so it is will last quite a while, but can stiffen the body if you are not used to firm. The cushions are soft and cozy without feeling flimsy, making it great for lounging, watching TV, or even stretching out for a nap. One of the biggest highlights is how easy it is to change configurations — you can rearrange the pieces quickly to fit different needs or room layouts, which makes it feel very flexible and functional. We did notice an issue after a few days of use where the back cushions started to sag when not supported, which was a bit concerning at first. However, we rearranged the setup so the back rests against a wall, and that completely solved the problem for us. Since then, it’s been holding up well and remains comfortable for everyday use.. The Ottoman by 14 Karat Home Inc. Is a very nice well made sturdy ottoman. We couldnt find any manual but it was simple enough to screw in the 8 screws for the feet of the ottoman but there are 2 metal bracket and there are 2 slots in the bottom platform of the ottoman but we cant figure out how it is supposed to be installed. The pillow tops were vacuumed pack and have weight to them very well made and nice material. Our dog loves it! There are velcro on the bottom of the top pillow and the middle section. So… I ordered this ottoman because I saw it at a distant friend’s house. She told me which product number on Wayfair it was. It’s a great looking ottoman. The quality is top notch. Unfortunately FedEx delivered it with the box completely falling apart and dragged it on the pavement concrete and it got dirty. So I was going to just scrub it clean but upon opening it is completely dented in and the red ribbon that they pack with it has totally run all over it. Love this sectional! My order was delivered on time and assembly instructions were easy to follow. I was hesitant to order furniture without trying it out first, but this sofa is firm and comfortable and all connections met up perfectly. I like the versatility of removing sections of seating as it was too large for my space. We measured many times and knew this would be an issue, so prepared for that ahead of time.
