Polished Copper

I had been eying a metallic backslash but was concerned that the kitchen would be too dark. I purchased the white vinyl tile to tie in with the white sink and I am so glad that I did. Its beautiful! Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. I love these tiles!! My mantel had an empty gap that always bothered me. They are easy to work with and cut, I used an angle grinder and it worked great. I did score the tiles with a glass cutter and I also taped the tiles where I needed to grind to. I didn’t want to do too much cutting so I used a peel and stick Moulding to fill in the little gap at the bottom. The photos don’t do it justice, they are very iridescent. I highly recommended them!. This is a great look without the mess of grout and mortar. I am capable of installing tile the old fashioned way with mortar and grout but this is so much easier and faster.
