We needed a living room rug that would blend in with our floral chairs and accent the room nicely. We like rugs with thicker piles. This rug worked perfectly. The colors are muted enough to not fight with our chairs. It is a bit more yellowish than the picture showed but it works for us. The carpet layer smooth from the beginning. The rug is just as beautiful as its pictures. The rug is both soft and feels durable and the underside is very neat. I am using it with a rug pad for extra cushion and it works great even with a bit thicker of a pad. The rug is 100% wool so it sheds quite a bit at first, but I totally expected this having had all wool rugs in almost every room of my home for decades. I love this rug. This rug is so beautiful and I didn’t even notice the lovely little tassels on the end making it seem more authentic!
