I ordered this sofa to replace a couch that is in a seating area that is fully open to my living room. So, I needed it to match and compliment the tufted linen deconstructed theme I currently have going on. I saw this and thought it would match and add another modern yet classic twist. The sofa arrived within days and I was initially disheartened when the box arrived with two big punctures in it. I was relieved to find no damage as the pieces were packed very well. Assembly was a tad frustrating. The sides, back and front were easy to put together. However, there is a long panel/plank that forms the foundation of where the seat is formed and cushions sit. To attach, there are screws affixed on the back and sides of the couch and metal plates with slots on the panel itself that slip over those screws. Pretty frustrating to try to line up and tighten the screws. Definitely need two people. Otherwise, once assembled this sofa was remarkably sturdy and comfortable to sit on.
