Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. Love the SkyPlug outlet product and ease of installation. The light fixture itself is a high quality product and really impressed with the integrated SkyX plug. I installed this as a replacement to a ceiling light. The earlier installer did not do a great job as the ceiling outlet box extended an inch or so below the ceiling and the hole cut was too large. I replaced with an old work box and used a medallion to help give it a finished look. This would not have been necessary for ceiling boxes properly installed to begin with. It doesn't feel overly trendy, but still gives a clean, updated look that instantly made my room feel more put together. The size (56") is ideal-it moves a lot of air without overwhelming the space visually. This fan is powerful. Even on a lower setting, I can feel a noticeable difference, which has been amazing for keeping things comfortable in my hot Florida house, without constantly adjusting the thermostat. It runs really smooth too-no wobbling or annoying noise. The LED light is another standout. It gives off a soft, ambient glow that's bright enough for everyday use but still cozy. And the remote makes adjusting settings so easy . I love that it doesn't feel harsh or overly cool-toned like some LED fixtures. I haven't moved it outdoors, but I love knowing it could work in a covered patio or humid space without any issues and 1 plan to add one there.
