I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! So for that I highly recommend. However, it does have a few frustrating "features". The racks are difficult to use for a number of reasons. In the two months I've been using my machine, I still don't know the best way to load it. The top rack is OK (not great) but the bottom rack is bad. You can't put anything in the front half of the rack between the tines because everytime you push the rack in the dishes fall towards the back. I love having the flex tray at the top but the handle design is terrible and it is always coming loose. And on all the racks the tines that you can lay down never want to stay in place. The control panel has bright LED lights but the icons aren't lit up, which means at night when you want to use the machine you can't see the buttons because you're blinded by bright white light bars. Lastly, I put the machine online, which was handy for setting up washing cycles, but the other day it mysteriously disconnected from my phone and now I can't get the machine back online again.. Matt. I would’ve given this vacuum 5stars however I think the design could have been more functional. The description says corded so you’re not surprised that it’s not cordless, but the cord should at least be retractable. There is no where to put the cord other than to wrap it around the item itself, not sure how much damage that does long term. On a positive note, it is very easy to use, just the push of a button. Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable.
