They provided extra lighting, as well as a festive atmosphere, and looked very cute hanging above our garage door, in the vine. Paired them with other solar-powered lights both on the ground, as well as fairy string lights in our bushes. The bright pink added a great touch of color. I definitely would recommend these - they are fun and add a creative touch to your decorating. The lantern size globe is nice in the large size. I got this idea from the lanterns at the Biltmore Estate in Ashville. However, I find it to be quite time consuming to have to put the lanterns upright every single day. The photo was not the same as the product. You have to straighten the branches and then wrap the lights around the trees.
