It was also amazing to talk to someone else who is in Texas as that's where i grew up and my family including my brother lives. The freight company who delivered was amazing. We haven't installed this yet but we did inspect the boxes and everything looks wonderful!! The glass is super thick and has a beautiful frosted look. We replaced a 13 year old version of this range with this one today. Overall, it is great, BUT for some reason the time clock will not display consistently. The whole display goes blank when not in use. You have to physically touch the clock icon on the control panel to see the time. This is not mentioned in the manual, but my husband found other people complaining about the same thing. Supposedly, it's some kind of energy saver. Ha! We use this as a clock in the kitchen and I can't imagine it takes that much energy to run a clock. I guess it was a trade off that the oven light actually stays on when you open and close the door to check on a dish in the oven. We had to physically turn the oven light back on every time we opened and closed the door on our older version. Also, be sure you check all of the recommended settings for preheating and cooking on the griddle before using it and keep a pot holder handy because it may move around when you use a spatula to turn over something like a grilled cheese sandwich.
