Wow! I’ve been dying to see these walls for about 5 weeks. They were delivered right after Thanksgiving for our bathroom remodel, and they took up a LOT of garage space since then. The packaging was larger than the 5x8 ft wall size by at least 6” in every direction. There was some damage to the cardboard one one edge, but there was no damage to the product. Unfortunately the delivery drivers placed the package upside down, so I couldn’t even glance at the marble effect. I was afraid to try to flip it to look at it. I was worried that it might look tacky, the way some “marble” products have busy pattern repeats or weird colors (like the “marble” shower base we returned that was “marbled” with purple and brown streaks.). But I did not need to worry! These wall panels are fantastic! The marble effect is very subtle and natural looking. We made sure we had room to store them flat until our contractor could install them, which finally happened today! They have a matte, lightly textured feel that is similar to tile, but no grout lines to scrub!. The crew commented many times how luxe it all looks. My contractor will caulk it on Friday when he installs the new toilet and vanity, and then we can try it out on Sunday! I looked at every possible wall material before settling on these. I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. These glossy ceramic wall tiles are super cute in person and arrived very well packaged. The tiles were heavily protected with multiple layers of packaging, and none of them were broken. We were really impressed with how secure everything was during shipping. Each box is fairly heavy, so just be prepared for that when handling them. We ordered the 12” x 24” size, and because the tiles are large, installation went fairly quickly in our bathroom. The finish looks beautiful, and everything feels high quality. So far, there are no cracks or issues, and they are very easy to clean. They also match really well with our shelves and overall bathroom design. For the price, this is an unbeatable deal. It’s affordable, stylish, and high quality. The glossy finish gives a clean, modern look, and we honestly have no complaints. This is the coolest thing and I’m super excited to use it. Going to make it the top of a coffee table. Very lightweight and crazy bendable, hard to believe it’s real slate but it is.
