I love this door knob. I had Emtek before in another house and the quality is the best. At that time I had their melon door knob. This porcelain door knob feels good in your hand. Great customer service. I had a problem, the carpenter I hired to put in the door dropped the rosette and it broke. I called Wayfair and told them what happened. They contacted the manufacturer. This is a sash lock and keeper. Constructed from diecast zinc it comes in a finish. They are found on a variety of sashes and due to their design are often used as a child safety lock. The slim-line design allows a minimum projection for a maximum unobstructed view. All the necessary installation hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. A Phillips head screwdriver will be required for installation.

These knobs were better quality than I hoped they would be, they look great on my painted (SW Dovetail) interior doors. Easy to install except for one thing. The bolts to hold the two sides together were very tight. I had to remove them after my first attempt, add some WD-40 to the part they screw into, screw the bolts all the way in before putting it back onto the door to open up the channel. After that they went together fairly well. Because of the angle of attaching the bolts and the extra force I had to use, some of the oil rubbed bronze color came off the screw head to show the metal underneath, though I doubt anyone else will ever notice. That only happened on one of the passage door knobs, the other I've installed went together fine, as well as the privacy knob I've installed. 6 more knobs to go.. Shannon. Estero, FL. We have had 12 of the American Standard pressure-assist toilets/tanks in our various homes over the years. We LOVE them. We have a plunger in the house - but have no idea where it is.
