This jute rug is perfect for my office! I love the size, and the jute is surprisingly soft. From what I can tell so far, it’s not shedding much at all and it didn’t have any weird smell or shedding right out of the package, which was a huge plus. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it.
