I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. I bought this rug two years ago in a 5x7 and have wanted it in a bigger size for an adjacent room for a long time. I finally found it at a great price here on wayfair. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. It rolled out flat immediately and has no smell. I’m not experiencing any shedding. It’s soft under my feet and the color variations and texture are just gorgeous. It will match any neutral decor. I don’t have a rug pad under it.
