This rug is beautiful and ties the room together very nicely. I added a 1/2 inch pad which has helped with cushioning since the rug itself is thin. It’s soft to walk on, and the pattern & two-tone colour variation brings a lot of warmth and camouflages stains well because my cat vomited on it shortly after laying it out. There is no shedding or odour, and since it’s polypropylene fibers it should be much easier to clean/shampoo when needed. I love it, definitely worth the wait.. Anonymous. Houston, TX. I was able to get this on sale for around $105, which I think is a great value. At the current ~$200 price point, I personally wouldn’t repurchase. The rug itself is very pretty — the colors are vibrant and give that vintage, high-end look. It’s a printed, low-pile rug, so don’t expect it to be soft or plush underfoot. It lays fairly flat, but you’ll definitely want a rug pad or some heavier furniture on it to keep it from sliding around. This rug is beautiful, and so soft! It looses a star because the frayed edges have threads pulling out, and I worry about its reliability over time with kids and pets. It’s also a lot lighter than pictured. I was expecting more color but it’s pretty light. It’s beautiful! I am glad I got it on sale though, as I don’t think it’s worth over 1k in the 9x12 size.. Don't let the Wayfair images fool you; photos don't do justice to the intricate details and rich colors. You really need to see it in your own space to fully appreciate it. The rug is incredibly soft and lays completely flat right out of the box. We're considering adding a pad underneath for extra comfort when sitting on the floor and for added noise absorption in our media room — but that's purely a bonus, not a necessity.
