I don’t think the pictures do the rug justice. At first I was unsure if I liked it, because I usually buy rugs that have a pattern. I bought this rug because of other people’s reviews. The rug is super soft and it is pretty thick. It is very nice. It could be grey or beige—I bought the 9 by 12 so that I can add chairs to my living room eventually. I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. Nice, thin profile, which is great if you have a door that needs to swing freely over it. Pretty pattern with hints of blue-works perfectly with my dark blue walls and light hardwood floors.
