The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! I am a huge fan of these Amber Lewis Loloi rugs- I’ve used them in multiple sizes and several different color ways, and love them all! They lay down well on top of carpet, as well as hard floors, in the material it’s great and very durable, especially near spaces that might have a pool nearby. This is exactly what I wanted, it’s soft, not too thick, didn’t shed, came rolled instead of folded — and just a better quality affordable rug. I did try others but this one has kind of set the bar. My space is open concept and I can’t find a suitable pairing that’s this quality, style and feel. Definitely sticking with Loloi for now. Good job on delivery and packaging Wayfair!!. Stacey.
