This rug is beautiful, and so soft! It looses a star because the frayed edges have threads pulling out, and I worry about its reliability over time with kids and pets. It’s also a lot lighter than pictured. I was expecting more color but it’s pretty light. It’s beautiful! I am glad I got it on sale though, as I don’t think it’s worth over 1k in the 9x12 size.. I love this rug! It’s perfect for layering or alone. It will look better once I get the rest of my furniture but so far I am very happy with it. Spot clean, vacuum, or hose off completely as needed.

The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! Love this rug. It looks little different from the listing picture, but it’s still beautiful. I got a thick rug pad and that made a huge difference. I especially like the detail.
