A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. This modern white fan is so much better looking than our outdated brown fan! It is sleek and since we have it attached to switches in our bedroom, we didn't even need to install the pull-chains. My husband has installed several fans and said this one wasn't the easiest to install. I love the look of it BUT the light is truly laughable. It is like a spotlight....shines directly downward and does not emit any light to the sides so basically we just have one spotlight in the middle of our room. Thankfully we have other light sources in our room so this will do for now. If you're looking for a fan with a light that will brighten up the whole room, this is not the one.. Kallen. Beautiful. I’ve been patiently waiting for someone to do the install for me, however it was worth the wait. I had been looking for sometime for a fan that would be large and also more up to date the the one I previously had. This was the perfect choice. Installation was fast , and much easier than expected, most importantly the price for the quality was unreal. The weight of just the blades alone was shocking , That very much reflects on the quality the blades also the light fixture is large offering an adequate amount of light. The color I chose is very versatile and would look nice with any ceiling and wall colors as well as room decor. There are several other colors to choose from . Wayfair products have always been above standard not only compared to online stores but also retail chains .
