I looked at so many chandeliers to find the right one to replace the old dark amethyst crystal chandelier that was hanging in our house when we bought it 13 years ago. We needed something simple and airy, and I was drawn to this fixture because of that. I ordered during Way Days, so it was a great buy. I put it together myself while watching TV with my daughter. It was like doing a puzzle! The electrician removed the old fixture and installed this one (with a medallion from a local hardware store that I painted with ceiling paint). Installed six LED chandelier bulbs, and it is very bright! Love the little metal details around the candlesticks. The center decoration isn't wood, but really, really looks like wood. Absolutely gorgeous chandelier. The beauty and sparkle on this is amazing. It’s just the right size. It is tedious to put on all the crystals, but they are labeled very well. I did have a few instances where the crystals were not the right size to make it between the candelabras, but I was able to take some of the jewels off one string and put them on another to make one shorter and one longer.
