My only drawback was the overall thickness was less substantial than I expected. That said, the appearance makes up for a lot. the pattern and color are beautiful, and it gives the room the exact look I was hoping for. I bought two of these rugs for my entry and kitchen. I bought one that was rectangular and one round. The rugs are fairly thin, but I like that, so no one trips. They definitely need a rug pad for my hardwood floors because they do slide frequently when we step on them. My rug pads arrive tomorrow and I know they will help with this. The colors are more on the subtle side. Overall color is a steel blue or smoky blue with the other colors being navy, ivory, beige, rust, very subtle mustard yellow, but could be confused with beige until you look at it closely.
