They definitely need a rug pad for my hardwood floors because they do slide frequently when we step on them. My rug pads arrive tomorrow and I know they will help with this. The colors are more on the subtle side. Overall color is a steel blue or smoky blue with the other colors being navy, ivory, beige, rust, very subtle mustard yellow, but could be confused with beige until you look at it closely. Love, love this rug. Lays beautifully in my entryway. I also had no issues with it flattening when I first laid it out. I do recommend getting a backing for this rug to keep it from sliding.. Anonymous. Fri May 22 2026
