The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! They definitely need a rug pad for my hardwood floors because they do slide frequently when we step on them. My rug pads arrive tomorrow and I know they will help with this. The colors are more on the subtle side. Overall color is a steel blue or smoky blue with the other colors being navy, ivory, beige, rust, very subtle mustard yellow, but could be confused with beige until you look at it closely. I am a huge fan of these Amber Lewis Loloi rugs- I’ve used them in multiple sizes and several different color ways, and love them all! They lay down well on top of carpet, as well as hard floors, in the material it’s great and very durable, especially near spaces that might have a pool nearby.
