Remedying these stark differences in design has been a challenge since purchasing the home. We had a ceiling fan and 3 bulb fixture above our kitchen table, but struggled with low light levels. Install was a breeze since it's pre-wired and comes with plenty of chain. While there were concerns initially about going with such an upgrade instead of a more basic fixture, those were put to rest once putting the bulbs in and hitting the switch for the first time. We ooh'd, and ahh'd, and sheepishly cleaned the cobwebs from the corners that we were unable to see clearly before. It balances out our high ceiling and makes our house look more like a home.
