Just perfection, I love it. I have been looking a several different lights for our side room. I wanted something big and bold but not bulky, also something classic I would still like down the road. Found it! I would say it was a little more difficult to install than the steps made it seem. My husband knows electric and still took us about an hour. I added a larger base at the top that I got somewhere else. It goes under the base of the light to add some more dimension. I really love it so much. The price was incredible, I did lots of research on chandler’s and I still can’t believe how good the price point is (look out for a sale too) The black is a true matte black, I used 40 watt chandler bulbs as they said that’s the highest you can go and it’s nice and bright. I purchased a set of these sofas for a project. Firstly, the leather is beautiful and just as photographed. It has a very firm seat - which is to be expected. The tufting is comfortable and adds lovely detail. The reason for 4/5 stars is due to the support of the back cushion. Pay attention to arm height - which is the total frame height (25", I think). I checked back height, but because the arm height is low, the back cushion lacks needed support. Its sags back a bit and, IMO does not provide the support needed to relax - better for conversational use. So - depends on your needs. I love the couch and the Walters arm chair also. The back cushions were puffier than I was expecting, not complaining, I just wasn’t expecting it. The seat cushions are firm but not stiff. The couch itself is lovely. But when the men unwrapped it, it was absolutely filthy. There is not one panel that did not have some kind of stain or dirt. Worst part is, I think it’s grease in some areas because it rubbed on the wall and left a streak on the wall that only came out with magic eraser. All that being said.
