I selected this enclosure in order to fit my cat's Tidy Cats Breeze XL litter box & the best area in my small apt. it can reside. All of the other cat box enclosures (I got tired of looking) are smaller. I would give it 5 stars if it were a bit taller & had a bigger side entrance. You may want to enlarge the cat entry prior to assembling, if you're using a larger litter box. Easy enough to assemble with properly marked items and hardware. A drill isn't required, but I'd recommend having a small one handy as well as a standard phillips screwdriver. The instruction manual includes directions for assembly with the side door opening on the right. The pieces are manufactured so they be used on either side so know where you want the opening before beginning assembly. The cabinet has enough room to fit the PetPivot Large Open-Top Automatic Litter Box with a litter mat and trash bags. The cabinet looks nice and fits where I wanted it. The side opening is a bit larger than necessary so my cat still ends up spreading litter on the outside when she exits. Also, I wish it came in more colors (I'll probably end up painting it). Super happy with this. Was using one of those litter boxes that look like a pot with a plant in it. Plastic got scratched and it started holding on to odors and dirt. The area inside was a bit small for my big guy. This rattan box is a really beautiful choice if you’re looking for something more elevated. I use a stainless pan and its perfect. This cat enclosure was the perfect size for my adult cat. Assembly would have taken me about 30 minutes if I had just followed the instructions and committed to which side I wanted the cat entrance on from the start. Instead, I kept changing my mind and repeatedly unscrewing and moving the entrance until I was finally satisfied. Thankfully, the parts held up really well through all of my indecision. The material feels sturdy and durable — strong enough to handle my cat and her, ahem, “business” — while still looking like a nice piece of furniture.
