The bendable neck moves easily and stays put in the direction I bend it. Most other lights will slowly bend from the weight of the light, but since this a LED light, it’s not top heavy. The on/off switch is perfectly located in an easy to reach spot, and clicks easily back and forth. I’ve used this lamp every night, since it sits nicely on my dresser, within arms reach. These are perfect by our bedside! The adjustability and light intensity is perfect for reading in bed or just a little extra light at night. We have one on either side of the bed. I used command strips to attach them to my headboard as I didn’t want to drill holes through the wood of the headboard. The only drawback to attaching them that way is that about 2” of the cord is visible before it is hidden behind the front panel of the headboard. This is an issue specific to my furniture.
