The lamp is heavy stone and quite lovely. While it is rechargeable and doesn’t have to have the plug constantly connected which I do like, the sensor for the touch lamp is on the bottom of the lamp. That being said, I was using mine for my nightstand and every time I set something down the nightstand it would turn on so then I would have to tap my nightstand three more times just to turn it back off. The bottom is more sensitive than the top for sure. It’s a pretty lamp, but it’s sensor is not located in the best location for my purpose. If using in a hallway or bathroom it may make more sense.. This was very simple and easy to use the buttons were self explanatory, but i also cam with a help instruction book and power cable. We set it up turned it on Auto. With this feature it turns on and off on its own, more of a set it and forget it. After its first night went out and checked on it and had clearly attracted and kill LOTS of bugs.
