This is a beautiful light. We did have some problems installing it though. There is very little clearance on top of the light to hold the thick insulation. It has a frame made from metal that is mostly concealed by the acrylic shade, which has a nubby look in a neutral hue that softly diffuses the light from the 5 x E26 base Max (sold separately). This flush mount light is compatible with incandescent, halogen, LED, CFL bulbs, etc. This fixture suspends less than 6”, so is a good choice for rooms with low ceilings. As it is rated for dry locations only, it is not suitable for a full bathroom or a damp location. This flush mount is lead-compatible.
