It’s being hung tomorrow. I’m so excited! I am putting it in my hallway because it has really high ceilings and it’s the perfect spot for it. I love the simplicity of this light fixture. It lends itself to any design style. You can change your color scheme and paint and it will still look great. You can change your design style, for example, I change my relaxed coastal style to a mid century modern vibe and it works perfectly. I challenge someone to find a style that it doesn’t work with lol. Good luck with that. All in all, I’m very happy with this light fixture. I highly recommend it. As soon as it’s hung, I will update my review with beautiful pictures of it hanging in my hallway. The light was a lot bigger than i thought it would be and that’s great! I was worried it was going to be too small but no way! It’s substantial. Please note that installation can be a challenge. And sometimes the installation is more than the cost of the light. It’s important to know that so you’re not shocked when they tell you how much to hang it. Plus the electricians around here are flakes. The one who was supposed to come out cancelled on me four times so I’m on the hunt for a reliable electrician that will come out to a rural area. I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. Really lovely light fixture - well made. The black finish is slightly textured which elevates the overall appearance. I purchased two of these pendants to hang over my kitchen island, and they turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. The scale is perfect for an island—large enough to make a design statement but still sleek and refined. The satin gold finish has a beautiful brushed look that feels modern yet timeless, and it coordinates effortlessly with the rest of my kitchen’s design. I paired them with modern bulbs that have a visible gold filament inside, and the effect is striking—warm, elegant, and just the right touch of sophistication without being over the top. Installation was very straightforward for my electrician, and both fixtures were up in no time. Initially, I noticed a slight wobble in the cord where it hangs down from the ceiling, but over time the weight of the pendant evened it out naturally. Now they hang perfectly straight and look seamless. What impressed me most is the value for the price. These lights look and feel like something I could have purchased at a designer showroom for much more, yet they were extremely affordable.
