To say I am pleasantly surprised with this mattress doesn’t describe how surprised I am with the quality of this mattress. I have spent so much money at the traditional mattress stores for mattresses that I haven't even liked. With this one, I had been skeptical about buying a mattress that came rolled up and had read so many mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. The mattress is a hybrid and medium, so not very plush, I personally would prefer a softer mattress, but I believe that with a box spring it would feel a bit softer, I am using a foundation now. I also bought a think mattress cover to give it a little more plush. The mattress did not have any bad smells which was something I read in many reviews. It also recovered its shape fairly quickly, I would say in about one day. It was interesting that it also comes with a cutter to open the plastic bag, I can now use the tool as a letter opener. It is comfortable for sleeping, but again, I like softer mattresses. I slept mostly on one side and can tell it is caving in a little, but that would happen to any mattress, I need to flip it over every so often. Tried the Black hybrid cushion top (the W replacement) but it was much taller (13" v 14.5") which I did not like for my platform bed frame. Tried two other beds prior from wayfair that were supposed to be plush but were very firm instead. This one actually is comfortable so far. It unrolled and took its proper form right away which was unlike the other two brick beds but it did Stink like chemical foam really strong for days. We could still smell it after 5 days. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for mattress for my teenage son's room. He was ready for a good mattress. Overall we are very happy with this one. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. He is a tall boy so it seems to be holding up good for the past month that he has been sleeping on it. His only complaint is that he would of liked to feel the cooling gels more. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress.
