Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. This carrier was a life saver when I was moving with 2 very skittish cats. I had to take them on a ferry and a 6 hour car ride and this carrier was large enough to fit a small letterbox in there with them and I did not have to open the crate until we were safely in our new space.
