Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. The bed is really nice. It’s easy to put together, however some of the wooden dowels were missing. The instructions state to contact the manufacturer of the bed rather than Wayfair if there is a problem. I did that and then was told that I needed to contact Wayfair. This queen platform bed frame is okay for the money spent. The color was exactly as pictured, which I appreciated. It’s not solid wood. It’s MDF with a wood laminate overlay and it definitely doesn’t have a high-end look. There are a lot of pieces to assemble, and not all of them aligned perfectly.
