This was purchased to use as an art projector and it will serve that purpose very well. It is capable of projecting to very small sizes if needed and that is a plus. The colors are absolutely beautiful as it changes with whatever is playing on tv. Yes the colors are bright, but not overly bright. There is a color-shifting mode also.
