Bought it for a 10 by 10 space and it kept the room UBER cold! My son would shut it off because the space would get so cold. I had the previous model and the door broke from opening to clean the filter. Therefore, it was nice to see they changed it to a pull out feature to clean the filter, which is better. It is recommended that you wait 24 hours to turn your unit on after it arrives. I went against that recommendation because it was absolutely sweltering in my studio space that had nothing but a fan. I purchased two of these bad boys to cover 1030 ft.² of open space with 18ft ceilings. I met FedEx AT THE DOOR! And they brought them in for me and set each unit at each window I wanted them to be placed. So delivery was smooth and easy. The installation instructions were easy to understand and the units took no more than 10 minutes each to be installed. NOTE: you will need some weather tape to seal off some gaps, but that’s to be expected. It was likely about 90° in my space before I turned them on and these had me feeling much cooler and more comfortable within about 30 minutes (run on medium at 68°) and after about an hour and a half, I didn’t feel the need to run them on medium anymore. They’re pretty quiet on the low fan cool setting, but of course they are louder on medium and high but nothing that will disturb my peace in my studio. having a window AC unit is not the prettiest thing so I can’t speak to aesthetics but I’m very happy with these —my problem has been solved.. This window AC unit has been a great addition to our home. First things first it is really heavy, so I definitely recommend having a second person help with installation. Once it’s in place, though, it’s absolutely worth it. It cools the room quickly and does a great job maintaining a comfortable temperature, even on warmer days. My only minor complaint is that I wish it were a little smaller, but honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an AC unit that wasn’t bulky! That’s just part of the deal with window units. Great window AC. It cools the room quickly, and I love that it has multiple settings, including cooling, fan, energy saver, and sleep mode. The digital display is easy to read, and the Wi-Fi feature makes it very convenient to control the unit from my phone. You can also control it with the included remote control, which is a great bonus. Installation was also pretty easy my son was able to install it by himself without any problems.
