Super quiet. I only wish I’d checked the wiring diagram. To work the nightlight, fan, and regular light all separately you’re gonna need 3 switches in your bathroom. We only had two and we installed extra lights above the shower so we went with one switch to work the shower lights and one that works both the fan and light together. I installed five of these Kraus bathroom faucets throughout my home about 2½ years ago, and Ive been very happy with them overall. One of my biggest concerns with black fixtures was how they would hold up with our hard water, but theyve exceeded my expectations. Even with daily use, they dont show the water spots and mineral buildup that I expected, and they clean up very easily. The finish has held up beautifully and still looks great. The faucets themselves have performed flawlessly. Weve had no leaks, no finish issues, and no problems with operation. My only minor complaint is with the pop-up drain. It seals well and works exactly as it should, but Ive noticed that the underside of the stopper can collect buildup over time. Its not a major issue, but its worth periodically removing it and giving it a quick cleaning to keep everything looking fresh. Overall, Ive been very pleased with these faucets. This humidity sensing exhaust bath fan, energy star offers easy, room-side installation, with “No Attic Access Required”. This is a nice fan!!! The description is not accurate, it has no light. It was not a surprise for me because I got a description from the Broan site using the fan's code AE50110DCS. I had AE50110DC and wanted to replace it with an automatic fan that turns on automatically when humidity is high and works for a specific period of time (it has a timer, a duration is up to 60 min). The fan allows the user to select a speed 50, 80 or 110 CFM. My previous fan (AE50110DC) had a permanent speed of 110. AE50110DCS at 110 makes the same level of noise as AE50110DC at 110. AE50110DCS at 80 is a little bit quieter, just a little bit. Therefore, I selected the speed 50 CFM which is really quiet for me. I set a humidity selector at 70% and a timer at 60 min. I know that for a 4PC bathroom the speed of 50 CFM is not enough but I keep a door to the bathroom open all the time and the fan will run for 60 minutes, then check humidity again and start a new 60-min cycle if humidity is above 70%. I guess it should be enough, time will show. I had a choice to buy a bigger Panasonic fan which is as quiet at 110 CFM as this fan at 50 CFM, but decided to use a fan with the same dimensions as my old one. In spite of the fact that this fan turns on automatically you may turn it on manually if necessary - turn a switch on, then off and on again.. Alexander. Kitchener, ON. Sun Nov 05 2023
